The Hotel is located at the entrance to the Aigüestortes National Park, at 1740 m high and 9 km from the nearest town. It is the ideal starting point to enjoy the Aran Valley and walk the trails, peaks and hills we come to the more than 30 mountain lakes that dot the Circ of Colomers.

It’s the only national park in Catalonia. High mountain landscapes with great wealth of fauna and vegetation where the water is the great protagonist, almost 200 lakes and countless streams.

Glacial cirque of Colomers
The glacial cirque of Colomèrs was formed during the glacial periods; thanks to the erosion of the ice, the ice has left a high mountain landscape with peaks of around 3000 m., such as the Creu de Colomèrs, the Gran Tuc de Colomèrs and the Tuc de Ratera.
