The glacial cirque of Colomèrs was formed during the glacial periods; thanks to the erosion of the ice, the ice has left a high mountain landscape with peaks of around 3000 m., such as the Creu de Colomèrs, the Gran Tuc de Colomèrs and the Tuc de Ratera.
